The PAB is thrilled to announce its accepting applicants for a position on the PAB’s Board. This vacancy, announced at last week’s board meeting, was created after Dr. Celia McIntosh stepped down following two years of dedicated service.
“It has been with great pleasure to be of service to the community during the development phase of the foundation of PAB,” said Dr. McIntosh.
“I will always appreciate the experience and knowledge I gained during my time here.”
“As a founding Board member, Dr. McIntosh was instrumental in getting the PAB off the ground,” said Chair Shani Wilson. “We’ve been very fortunate to have her leadership and work ethic as we work to change the face of public safety in our community. We are grateful to Dr. McIntosh for her contributions to the PAB. As the PAB moves into its next phase, our hope is that the community will continue to step up in a big way to fill this opening and help us continue our work.”
The PAB will be working with the Police Accountability Board Alliance to identify candidates who can serve as a Board member in the days to come. Interested candidates should visit the “Apply for the PAB” section of the Alliance’s website (paballiance.org).
