Updating & Redesigning the Police Accountability Board’s Website (Proposal Deadline 11/8/2021)
The Police Accountability Board is seeking proposals from qualified entities who can upgrade and redesign the Board’s website, ROCPAB.org. The Board is looking for an upgrade-and-redesign process that, by early 2022, can fully integrate the Board’s WordPress-based website with the relevant case management and complaint/tip intake features. The Board expects the broader upgrade-and-redesign process to continue through the middle of 2022.
Implementing PAB's Awareness & Communications Strategy (Proposal Deadline 10/14/2021)
The Police Accountability Board is seeking proposals from qualified Consultants to work with the PAB’s Chief of Public Affairs and senior leadership team to lead the tactical implementation of a newly developed strategic communications plan to ensure the public understands the PAB’s work, how to file complaints with the PAB, and how to otherwise engage with the PAB. The PAB is seeking an agency partner(s) that has experience in growing a governmental entity’s profile, one that shares our values and one that has experience in racial/social justice, and/or equity work. Creating A Comprehensive Language Access Plan For PAB (Proposal Deadline 10/14/2021)
The Police Accountability Board is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to create a Comprehensive Language Access Plan (LAP) that will ensure the Board can provide high quality appropriate language services to all communities in Rochester. For the Board to function in an equitable, healthy, and transparent manner, it must develop a set of internal policies, procedures, and practices that will ensure there is meaningful access to various critical services and necessary equipment for (1) Board employees; (2) Board members; and (3) members of the public. Given the Board’s plan to begin providing services in the coming months, along with the need to provide members of the Rochester community with services as quickly as possible, the Board is facing a critical need to quickly create and deploy high-quality language access services.
